Our Home
Our cottage is a warm and characterful country home, complete with an AGA, wood burning stoves, deep sofas, and plenty of cosy dog beds throughout. Every guest becomes part of our household, living alongside us enjoying the same comfort and companionship they’re used to at home.
At bedtime, dogs settle in their dedicated sleeping room, designed to feel safe, cosy, and familiar. We tailor the space to each dog’s usual routine whether they prefer a quiet corner, a raised bed, or a snuggly den setup.
Our private seven acre field in Lyme Park is a peaceful countryside haven, just a short walk from the cottage. Sweeping meadowland opens into a charming little woodland at the bottom, with a gentle stream running through it, a favourite spot for dogs to explore, paddle, and unwind. This secluded space offers freedom, enrichment, and the quiet beauty of nature all to themselves.

Small Animal Care
We also provide dedicated care for small animals, offering a calm, comfortable environment tailored to the needs of pets such as guinea pigs, hamsters and chickens. Each pet is looked after with the same attentive, home from home approach that defines all of our services from fresh food and water to clean bedding, quiet spaces, and thoughtful daily interaction.
Owners receive frequent updates throughout their pet’s stay, ensuring complete peace of mind while their small animals enjoy gentle, reliable care.

Families are welcome to drop off and collect their dogs at any time between 8am and 7pm, provided we have a little advance notice. We keep our schedule flexible so your travel plans feel effortless, and every arrival is calm, unhurried, and warmly welcomed.
My 2 year old Australian labradoodle, Orla, stays with Jessica for holiday boarding and daycare. Orla loves her and I am so confident that she is happy and well looked after when we are away. I would recommend Jessica wholeheartedly.

I can’t recommend Jessica enough . We had never left our 1yr old cavapoochon before and we were nervous to do so as she craves lots of attention. We needn’t have worried ! Jessica provided daily photos and updates and her and her family showered Mabel with love and cuddles. We could see from the photos Mabel loved her little holiday and her new friends ! Rosie came for her first overnight stay and I felt so at ease leaving her. I was a typical worried dog owner but Jess put me at ease and kept me updated throughout the day / night on Rosie. I was understandably nervous leaving my baby with a ‘stranger’ for the first time whilst we had a couple of days away…but Jessica was so lovely and I felt very much at ease leaving Charlie in her care. Jessica sent me photos and messages frequently and I could just tell how at home Charlie had made himself.
It was Charlie’s birthday whilst staying with Jessica and he came home with a little gift, these are the little things that mean so much.

I have no hesitation in recommending Jessica. She is so caring and reliable with good communication. Bella was wary at first with going somewhere new but Jessica soon put her at ease and Bella absolutely loves going to visit and why wouldn’t she! We are very lucky.
